MicroLaserPeel® Treatment Overview

You must avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and sensitizing agents like Retinol or AHAs for at least two weeks before your session. PRIOR TO THE TREATMENT

DURING THE TREATMENT

After thoroughly cleansing the area, we apply a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort. During the 20–30 minute procedure, the laser scanner moves over the skin, vaporizing a precise thin layer of the epidermis. You will feel a sensation of heat and a light “snap,” but the medical-grade numbing and cooling systems keep the experience manageable.

POST-TREATMENT

Immediately following the peel, your skin will feel quite warm and appear red, similar to a significant sunburn. We apply a specialized occlusive barrier to protect the new skin. For the first 48 hours, it is vital to keep the area clean and heavily hydrated. You will be provided with a specific post-laser kit to use during the healing phase.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE

Most patients experience a “peeling” phase starting around day 3. This is the old, damaged epidermis making way for the new, healthy skin underneath. It is crucial not to pick or pull at the skin. By day 4 or 5, the fresh skin is usually revealed. A strict mineral SPF 50 regimen is mandatory to protect your new, sensitive complexion from UV damage.

What does the peeling process look like?
