The goal of an Anti-Wrinkle treatment is not to achieve a perfectly smooth complexion. Rather, the aim of an Anti-Wrinkle treatment is to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles. wrinkles are caused by a variety of factors, including sun damage, smoking, and aging. When injected into the skin, the anti-wrinkle injection works by temporarily paralyzing the muscles that contribute to wrinkles. As a result, wrinkles can appear to be reduced or even erased. While an Anti-Wrinkle treatment is not a permanent solution to wrinkles, it can provide a temporary fix for those who are looking to improve their appearance.
Once you get your an Anti-Wrinkle treatment, there are going to be changes within the first 3-5 days. You’ll start noticing that it’s working in a 7-10 day span and then at 14 days after receiving this treatment you will see the optimal effects and it will last an average of 3-4 months before wearing off or being metabolized out.
It’s important to note that everyone is different and on their own timeline. If someone has very active lifestyle habits they may find themselves needing more frequent treatments; however some people who don’t exercise much can still experience results with no issue as longs their body is able process toxins

Absolutely. So all these, the injections themselves are quick- most of my time is spent explaining what we’re doing and talking about any side effects or risks that may occur during treatment.
In the clinic, we often talk about treating in layers. Botox can combined with most treatments, however it’s best to avoid treatments like PRP (sometimes called “platelet rich plasma”), where there is a lot of blood flow going on the skin itself because then you might move your botox around too much and the results may be skewed. We do not want the Botox to move. With any kind of dermal filler, HydraFacial all these kind of treatments, we can combine them.
Some soft recommendations are to not wear makeup coming into the clinic (don’t worry if this isn’t possible, we will cleanse your skin!) Please avoid alcohol 24 hours before and after your treatment to avoid bruising.
The treatment is commonly used to treat expression lines around the face. Its main purpose is to relax the muscles in your face so the skin above gets a chance to rest and rejuvenate.
The cost of one area is €300 , two areas €350 and three areas €400. This includes any adjustments needed.
You would expect to pay for 3 areas if you wanted to get your frown, forehead and crows feet treated together. We generally include a brow lift in this combination if it’s suited to the patient.
The interval between needing treatments is really personal. The average duration of a treatment is three or four months, but that doesn’t mean that after three or four months, you need to be back and having it repeated.
I like to tell my clients that at the point where you look in the mirror and the lines are back and you want to do something about them, that’s the right time. So if that’s three months, that’s okay. But if that’s six months, that’s also okay. So keep an eye on how things are looking for yourself and we’re happy to see you once you’re ready.

The downtime for anti-wrinkle treatment is probably about 10, 15 minutes. So after your treatment, you can have little kind of raised bumps on the areas treated and because anti-wrinkle treatment is mixed in with saline, they will disappear fast as the water is absorbed into your skin. It takes 3 to 12 hours for the product to actually get into the muscles. But the downtime is absolutely minimal and almost nonexistent.
Anti-Wrinkle treatment is a relatively painless procedure. There are a few little pinches involved that are less than say plucking a hair from your eyebrows. We use extremely small needles that allow us to just get in under the skin and deposit the product. The treatment itself usually takes somewhere between one and two minutes to treat most of the face.

Using the product in massive quantities and over 10,000 units can be unsafe. But when we use the product cosmetically there’s very few indications where we’d use over 100 units, which is a tiny percentage of any kind of harmful dose. So the safety profile of anti-wrinkle is incredibly safe.
The biggest side effects we talk about are if we are treated in the wrong areas, we can treat muscles that we don’t intend to treat. And by avoiding areas that carry these risks we minimize any risk at all. It’s really important to not exercise, drink alcohol, enter saunas, or lead, anything that kind of causes that rush blood to the face.
Anti-Wrinkle treatments cannot be reversed, which is why we think out the process and we plan before ever going ahead with treatment. The product will naturally reverse over time, but for the most part we have to kinda wait it out. There are some things we can do if for whatever reason a heavy eyelid occurs by using eye drops, but we’ve never had to do this because we treat safe areas.
