What is a Morpheus 8?

Morpheus 8 works by using radiofrequency (RF) microneedling. This process of heating and cooling the skin helps to stimulate collagen production. The increased collagen production from Morpheus 8 treatments can lead to tighter, smoother skin.

This microneedling device uses needles to penetrate the skin and deliver Radiofrequency energy to the lower layers of the skin.

There is minimal downtime associated with Morpheus; however, you may have some redness or swelling immediately after the procedure, which should subside within a couple of days. Results are typically visible within a few weeks and continue to improve over time as new collagen is produced.

We recommend 3 treatments to achieve optimal results. Peaking at 3 months post the course of 3 treatments.

How long until I see results?

The short answer is that you will start to see results after your first treatment with Morpheus 8. You will notice that your skin is tighter and firmer.

Morpheus 8 treatments are usually done in a series of 3-6 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. However, some patients may start seeing noticeable results after just one treatment. The full effects of Morpheus 8 treatments can take up to 6 months to appear. During your consultation we will create a custom program for you.

FAQ

Absolutely! Timing is everything though! We would want to proceed with filler treatments after your course of Morpheus is completed. Antiwrinkle treatments are generally much deeper into the muscles and can be performed at anytime!

If you have recently had some filler work done than ideally we will wait 2 months after to start your Morpheus journey. We will discuss this In consultation as the location and depth of the filler will be a determining factor whether we wait or proceed.

Indeed! We highly recommend the combination of PRP with this treatment as it enhances your healing process and overall results! The addition of your naturally produced growth factors found in your platelets only accelerates and exemplifies the final results!

At the Dr Dallas Clinic we don’t like pain! We endeavour to reduce pain from everything we do! This includes our Morpheus treatments! We use a combination of both topical and injected local anaesthesia techniques to keep you relaxed and comfortable throughout your procedure!

Does this mean you will feel absolutely nothing? Ideally yes! But sometimes we can’t get rid of absolutely all sensation, so you may feel occasional prickly sensations but also some heat! All is very short lived and well worth it!!

Morpheus 8 is a microneedling device with radiofrequency energy, where as facetite/bodytite/accutite are wand devices that are slightly more invasive. These procedures are again skin tightening procedures that cause larger traumas under the skin to achieve a near facelift result. The ideal patient for this procedure is seeing the early signs of jowls, loose skin under the chin etc. this procedure i often combined with a course of morpheus8 to reduce targeted signs of ageing, before a surgical intervention is deemed necessary!

At Dr Dallas Clinic we have the bodytite machine from InMode. This machine has vast capabilities which include; facetite, accutite, bodytite, Morpheus8 and much more!

Similar to factite mentioned above bodytite, is a larger wand device used to treat larger body areas, where skin laxity is becoming problematic. The stomach, arms and legs are the most common areas treated. Again this is used in combination with Morpheus treatments to drive optimum results.

A course of Morpheus is the starting point for nearly all clients. This is ~3 sessions (4-6 weeks apart) we then will recommend a follow up session annually to maintain your results! This may vary on a case to case basis. We will also strongly recommend a course of Profhilo to maintain skin quality and hydration following your treatment. Your skin is an investment and it does require TLC. So with every client we will go through a bespoke approach to tackle all your individual skin needs!
